Well done to the Kent Schools Football Association Under 14 Girls who last night became South East England's champions after beating Suffolk Schools FA 4-2 in extra time.

Although it isn't my kind of sport (I prefer quieter activities, ideally with only one player at a time, such as snooker, golf or darts!) I can just about imagine such an activity, and I get the feeling that it is actually quite good fun. You have said as much yourself, come to think of it…

Perhaps I really ought to pay more attention to team sports after all! I might challenge you to convince me, one of these days :-)
